The 2025 Romans autumn festival took place on Sunday 19 October in the village. The boot sale gathered around a hundred exhibitors offering toys, books, clothing and ornaments. Alongside, the festival activities — pumpkin sales, apple pressing, producers' market and hiking — attracted a large family audience to this Deux-Sèvres bocage village.

2025 Autumn Festival Review
On Sunday 19 October 2025, Romans buzzed with the rhythm of its annual autumn festival. The boot sale welcomed around a hundred exhibitors in the village streets, offering a wide range of everyday items and curiosities. Visitors alternated between browsing stalls and enjoying the activities: apple pressing with fresh juice tasting, sales of squashes in all shapes and colours, bread baked in the communal oven.
The local producers' market was hugely popular, with stands of honey, goat's cheese and artisan jams. A morning guided walk allowed visitors to discover the surrounding bocage trails.
