Former stronghold of Languedoc Protestantism, Puylaurens, perched at 286 m between Castres and Toulouse, hosts each spring its Foire à Tout, a popular rendezvous rooted in Tarn fair traditions. The event gathers private sellers and dealers across several streets and squares of the town.
Hunting in a town of character
Puylaurens, a small town of 3,500 inhabitants, boasts rich heritage: former Protestant temple, Royal College, 18th-century mansions and panoramic views over the Montagne Noire and the Lauragais.
What's on offer
Open to both private sellers and brocanteurs, the fair offers a characteristic spring mix: family attic bric-a-brac, small brocante, and occasionally more specialised stalls.
A popular family event
The Foire à Tout sits in the tradition of great Tarn popular fairs. It attracts local hunters, families from neighbouring Lauragais villages and visitors travelling between Castres and Toulouse.
