Puces des couturières: The Creatives' Paradise in Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne

Since 2009, the association Cré'Ateliers pour tous has organized the annual Puces des couturières, creative hobbies, and collectibles market in Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. This event, celebrating its 18th edition in 2026, has become the unmissable gathering for sewing, handicraft, and collecting enthusiasts in the Ain department.

A Market Dedicated to Fiber Arts and Creation

The Espace Noël Ravassard, on avenue Charles de Gaulle, hosts between 50 and 100 exhibitors specializing in the world of sewing and creative hobbies. You'll find a profusion of fabrics, threads, yarns, buttons, ribbons, beads, antique and modern haberdashery, patterns, sewing books, second-hand sewing machines, and supplies for patchwork, embroidery, knitting, and crochet. Collectors also offer vintage items related to textile crafts.

A Friendly and Loyal Event

The majority of exhibitors return year after year, a testament to the quality of organization and the loyalty of the public. The atmosphere is warm, and the exchange of advice and tips among enthusiasts is an integral part of the visiting pleasure. The association also offers a refreshment stand with light snacks and organizes a raffle with creative prizes.

Practical Information

The doors open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with exhibitors setting up from 8:30 a.m. Entry is free. The Espace Noël Ravassard offers a spacious and comfortable setting with parking and restrooms. The event is usually held in early May.
