The Puces des Couturières de Courtenay: the meeting place for sewing and creativity enthusiasts

Organized by the association CREA'titude, the Puces des Couturières et Loisirs Créatifs of Courtenay is a unique event in the Loiret and Gâtinais regions. Every second Sunday in April, this event brings together all those who share a passion for textile arts and creative hobbies: amateur and professional seamstresses, embroiderers, knitters, jewelry makers, scrapbooking enthusiasts, and many others.

A specialized market dedicated to textile arts

Unlike general car boot sales, the Puces des Couturières has a strong identity and a targeted offering. Exhibitors sell used or new sewing and creative materials: rolls of fabric, spools of thread, buttons and various haberdashery, wool and knitting needles, sewing patterns and magazines, lace and embroidery, manual or electric sewing machines, embroidery hoops, embroidery threads, scrapbooking and creative hobby materials. You can also find handmade creations made by the exhibitors themselves.

A complete event with catering

The CREA'titude association ensures a great atmosphere at its event: light refreshments and a drinks stand are available on-site so that attendees can extend their visit and chat over a coffee. Demonstrations of creative techniques may also liven up the day, allowing visitors to get inspired and learn.

A success that never wanes

For several years, the Puces des Couturières de Courtenay have been a sell-out event. The 2026 edition (the 11th) even saw exhibitor spots fill up so quickly that bookings had to be closed before the public opening. This success testifies to the dynamism of the creative community in the Gâtinais and the loyalty of its audience.
