More than 250 exhibitors set up in the town center over more than 1,300 meters of stands, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. A carousel adds to the entertainment for families.
In 2024, the event celebrated its 33rd edition, confirming its longevity and its roots in local life. The event attracts sellers and bargain hunters from all over the department and neighboring departments. Courville-sur-Eure is a commune of about 4,200 inhabitants located about twenty kilometers southwest of Chartres, in the Eure valley. A town of agricultural and industrial tradition, it retains a pretty old center with its Saint-Hilaire church and its character houses. The Eure river winds through it in a landscape of hedgerows and meadows, forming a marked contrast with the vast plains of the surrounding Beauce region.
The town is served by the N23 national road which connects Chartres to Nogent-le-Rotrou, making access to the Bric-à-brac easy from all over the region. The weekly market and numerous local associations testify to the vitality of Courville's social fabric.
The Courville-sur-Eure festival committee professionally manages this large-scale event. The layout plan of the stands in the town center is carefully established to ensure smooth circulation and comfort for both exhibitors and visitors. The event is completely free for visitors. A carousel and entertainment complete the program for families.
