A curated flea market in the Enclave of the Popes

On Saturday 25 April 2026, Valréas unfurls its Puces Chic on the Château de Simiane forecourt, 9 am to 5 pm. In the Enclave of the Popes – a historic peculiarity of Vaucluse enclosed within the Drôme – the event stands as one of the most elegant in the Haut-Vaucluse calendar. Century-old plane trees provide an almost cinematographic setting.

Owned by the Simiane family from the 17th century, the castle occupies the historic heart of Valréas. Its forecourt hosts markets and major events of the city. Holding Puces Chic here inscribes the bargain-hunting into the heritage dimension of the Enclave.

What you'll find

Unlike a classic flea market, Puces Chic applies curation. Vintage furniture, antiques, old linen, characterful tableware and glassware, lighting, vintage jewellery, collectibles, paintings, style decor. Shabby chic, Mid-Century, Provençal country and Art Deco are well represented.
