Summer market combining producers, artisans and car boot sale at the foot of the Vercors
Malleval-en-Vercors, a tiny village nestled in the foothills of the Vercors massif, hosts an original market every summer that combines local products, local crafts, well-being and a car boot sale. In the charming Place de l'Église, lined with old stones and greenery, about twenty stalls make up an authentic picture of rural life in the Vercors.
Local producers present their specialties: Vercors cheeses, mountain honey, artisanal jams, aromatic plants and garden vegetables. Artisan creators offer pottery, jewelry, wooden objects and handmade textiles. The well-being section complements the offer with practitioners of gentle medicines and relaxation.
The car boot sale aspect of this event allows residents of the village and surrounding areas to offer their second-hand items. In the relaxed atmosphere of this small mountain village, treasure hunting takes on a special flavor: you take your time, you chat, you negotiate in good spirits.
A commune of a few dozen permanent inhabitants, Malleval-en-Vercors is one of the most discreet and charming villages in the Vercors. Accessible via the D22, the village offers a total change of scenery less than an hour from Grenoble. This summer market is an opportunity to discover this preserved territory and its passionate inhabitants.
