Annual car boot sale in the heart of Royans, at the gates of Vercors
Auberives-en-Royans organizes its car boot sale every year, an event that brings together the inhabitants of Royans and passing visitors in this spectacular region at the gates of the Vercors Regional Natural Park. The event takes place in the village center, offering an exceptional treasure hunting setting.
Auberives-en-Royans is a small village in the Isère region nestled between the limestone cliffs of Vercors and the Bourne valley. The village's architectural heritage, its old streets, and its panoramas of the surrounding mountains make this car boot sale a unique opportunity to combine treasure hunting with the discovery of local heritage. Nearby, the Pont en Royans and its houses suspended above the Bourne constitute a remarkable tourist site.
The sellers, mainly private individuals, set up their stalls in the village, offering a varied range of second-hand items: toys, clothes, tableware, old books, trinkets, tools, and curiosities. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, typical of mountain village car boot sales.
