The Beaulieu clothing fair

Poitiers, capital of the Vienne and a city of art and history with 735 years of university tradition, hosts in its south-eastern Beaulieu district one of the liveliest neighbourhood houses in town. Every spring, its clothing fair attracts residents from across Grand Poitiers. Friday 24 and Saturday 25 April 2026 are the two public sale days, after an earlier deposit phase.

A consignment system

Individuals drop off clean spring-summer garments, set their prices, and later collect unsold items and sale proceeds. A small commission supports the Animation Centre's workshops, youth activities and intergenerational events.

Popular across the Poitiers area, this model combines purchasing power, ecology and support for community life. Twice a year: spring-summer in April, autumn-winter in October-November.

Beaulieu district

Family-friendly south-east Poitiers, near Blossac park, minutes from historic centre (Notre-Dame-la-Grande, Palais des Comtes, Saint-Jean Baptistery). The Animation Centre on Boulevard Pont Achard-Beaulieu hosts after-school activities, adult courses and community events.

Come at opening for best choice, especially standard sizes and popular brands. Bring small cash. Volunteers help with fittings.
