Exhibition and fair for all collections organized by APHILACART at the Salle Chez Jeanne in Plouhinec (29780), every April
Every April, the APHILACART association organizes its All Collections Exhibition and Fair at the Salle Chez Jeanne in Plouhinec (29780). Philately, postcards, old papers, champagne caps, and collector's items are featured. A popular fair for collectors from Cap Sizun and Finistère.
Every spring, the communal hall Chez Jeanne in Plouhinec (29780) hosts the All Collections Exhibition and Fair organized by APHILACART — Association Philatélique et Cartophile de Douarnenez et du Cap Sizun. This specialized fair brings together collectors, exhibitors, and enthusiasts to present and exchange their treasures: stamps and philatelic items, old postcards, prints, collectible old papers, champagne caps, and any collector's item that exhibitors wish to offer.
APHILACART is based in Plouhinec (19 rue de Kergréac'H, 29780 Plouhinec) and brings together passionate collectors from the Douarnenez and Cap Sizun area. The association regularly organizes meetings and exhibitions allowing enthusiasts to exchange, buy, and sell their rare pieces in a friendly and expert setting.
Unlike general car boot sales and flea markets, the Plouhinec Collectors' Fair is a specialized event where the quality of the exhibited items takes precedence over quantity. The exhibitors — all members or guests of the association — offer carefully selected items: collectible stamps, rare series and blocks, illustrated postcards from the early 20th century, old documents, lithographs, posters, and ephemera. Both beginner collectors and seasoned enthusiasts will find items to enrich their collections.
The Salle Chez Jeanne is a communal facility in Plouhinec, in the heart of the village. The town of Plouhinec is located on the Cap Sizun peninsula, near Douarnenez and Pointe du Raz, in an exceptional natural setting.
Plouhinec (29780) is a municipality in southern Finistère, in Cap Sizun, between the Bay of Douarnenez and the Bay of Audierne. This coastal area, a cradle of fishing and sailing traditions, is rich in remarkable historical and natural heritage. The Pointe du Raz, a classified Grand Site de France, is a few kilometers away. Plouhinec also houses the megalithic site of Men-Marz and the remains of the old schooner La Louisette. Associative life, particularly around local collections and traditions, is particularly vibrant here.
The fair is held at the Salle Chez Jeanne, Plouhinec (29780), every year in April. Exhibitors wishing to participate can contact APHILACART at 19 rue de Kergréac'H, 29780 Plouhinec. Entry is free or by donation for visitors.
