In 2025, the Place Kléber Book Market faithfully enlivened the historic center of Strasbourg three days a week, perpetuating a tradition that began in 1990. The twenty authorized booksellers set up their stalls at each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday appointment on Place Kléber and at the entrance of rue des Hallebardes, in one of the busiest districts of the city.
The offering, as rich as ever, allowed passers-by and enthusiasts to find treasures among thousands of works: contemporary and classic novels, crime fiction, comics for young and old, regional works on Alsace and Strasbourg history, educational books, old postcards, and collector's rarities.
