Large Easter car boot sale at Place du Louvre, two days of treasure hunting in Paris
For the Easter weekend 2026, Place du Louvre becomes a large two-day car boot sale, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April, from 7 AM to 7 PM. At the foot of the Louvre's eastern colonnade and facing Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois church, sellers display a varied range of second-hand items. This Easter event offers Parisians and visitors a great chance to hunt in a unique heritage setting.
On Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April 2026, Place du Louvre hosts its annual Easter car boot sale. For two days, from 7 AM to 7 PM, private sellers set up in this prestigious 1st arrondissement site.
Items on offer cover the full spectrum: adult and children's clothing, toys, books, tableware, household linen, small appliances, decoration, trinkets, vinyls and sometimes small furniture.
Few car boot sales offer such a setting. Place du Louvre is bordered to the west by Perrault's 17th-century colonnade, and opposite stands the flamboyant Gothic church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois.
Arrive early for the best pieces: collectors and professional dealers are there from 7 AM.
