Annual flea market in the heart of Beaumont-en-Auge, Pays d'Auge
The Petites Puces de Beaumont-en-Auge is an annual flea market held every August in the center of this hilltop village in the Pays d'Auge. Organized by the Association for the preservation of the Church of Beaumont-en-Auge, the Petites Puces will be in its 34th edition in 2026. This popular event brings together individuals and professionals in the village streets, offering a wide selection of flea market items, clothing, trinkets, tableware, books, and collectibles. The stall rental fee is 5 euros per linear meter with a minimum of 3 meters.
Every August, the center of Beaumont-en-Auge hosts its Petites Puces, a friendly and popular flea market that will celebrate its 34th edition in 2026. Organized by the Association for the preservation of the Church of Beaumont-en-Auge, this charity event contributes to the preservation of the religious heritage of this Pays d'Auge village while offering a day of treasure hunting enjoyed by locals and holidaymakers alike.
The Petites Puces stalls are set up in the streets and squares of the village center, creating a picturesque treasure hunting route through an authentic Norman village. Individuals clearing out their attics and flea market professionals mingle, offering an eclectic assortment: furniture, tableware, trinkets, vintage clothing, books, vinyl records, old toys, linens, and all sorts of collectibles.
Perched on a natural promontory between Deauville and Pont-l'Évêque, Beaumont-en-Auge offers one of the most beautiful panoramas in Normandy over the green hills of the Pays d'Auge. Birthplace of the mathematician and astronomer Pierre-Simon de Laplace, the village retains remarkable architectural heritage with its half-timbered houses and its church. The Petites Puces are part of this village identity, perpetuating a tradition of conviviality and sharing.
The profits from the Petites Puces are donated to the Association for the preservation of the Church of Beaumont-en-Auge, which works for the restoration and maintenance of this heritage building. By participating in this flea market, both exhibitors and visitors directly contribute to the preservation of the communal heritage, giving this day of treasure hunting a solidarity and committed dimension.
