The 2025 edition of the Patrimoine et Culture flea market was held on Thursday 1 May at the centre of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, on Joseph Lasserre alley. Private sellers and hunters enjoyed the long bank-holiday weekend and the medieval bastide setting for a day of hunting at the foot of the covered market and castle. The Lamothe-Cadillac birthplace, immediately adjacent, also welcomed its usual visitors.
The Patrimoine et Culture flea market confirmed in May 2025 its place in the northern Tarn-et-Garonne hunters' calendar. At the centre of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, on Joseph Lasserre alley and neighbouring streets, private sellers from the village and surrounding communes laid out crockery, clothes, toys, books, vinyl records, family brocante and small furniture from the morning. The medieval setting, at the foot of the covered market and historic castle, offered hunters a unique heritage environment.
The Patrimoine et Culture association, working year-round to preserve local heritage and fund cultural actions, once again ran a much-appreciated gathering. The May Day date, on the lily-of-the-valley long weekend, allowed families and tourists exploring the Tarn-Garonne confluence to combine hunting, heritage (Lamothe-Cadillac museum, medieval hall) and nature (leisure park). Next edition Friday 1 May 2026.
