The great annual Orgeval flea market, traditionally held in October in the city center
Every early autumn, the town of Orgeval, west of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Poissy, hosts its large annual flea market in the city center. This event, supported by the municipality, traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of October and transforms the streets of the center into a vast outdoor flea market.
Exhibitors - individuals and professional dealers mixed - set up in the pedestrianized streets of the city center to offer a rich and varied selection: antique furniture, crockery, tableware, trinkets, toys, vintage clothing, books, records.
With around 5,500 inhabitants, Orgeval is a town with a rich historical heritage dating back to Gallo-Roman times.
The Orgeval flea market is one of the major annual events that animate the town.
