Beauvoir-sur-Mer is a commune of about 4,000 inhabitants in northern Vendée, named for its former coastal position (sea has since retreated). Océane Twirling club — sport combining baton manipulation and choreography — holds its annual flea market Sunday 7 June 2026 (HelloAsso).

Like many sport clubs, Océane Twirling uses the flea market to fund activities: equipment, travel for competitions, venue hire, costumes. Event mobilises club families, supporting a little-known but demanding youth sport.
