Usson-du-Poitou is a town of around 1,500 inhabitants in southeast Vienne, in Civraisien-en-Poitou, midway between Civray and Lussac-les-Châteaux. A former cantonal centre with rich heritage: Saint-Etienne church with distinctive bell tower, old market halls, pale-stone houses.
