The traditional May 1st flea market organized by the Neauphle-le-Vieux Rural Foyer
Every year on Labour Day, the Rural Foyer (ASCL) of Neauphle-le-Vieux organizes a traditional flea market in this rural village of the southwestern Yvelines. A community rendezvous attached to local life, it brings together private exhibitors and bargain hunters for a spring day of flea market in the heart of the town, in the friendly atmosphere typical of Yvelines villages.
May 1st, Labour Day, is in Neauphle-le-Vieux the occasion for an emblematic community rendezvous: the Rural Foyer flea market. Organized by the Sports Cultural and Leisure Association (ASCL) of Neauphle-le-Vieux, affiliated with the Yvelines Rural Foyers network, this spring event is part of the tradition of great village events.
The Rural Foyer is at the heart of the cultural and friendly life of Neauphle-le-Vieux.
Private exhibitors offer the typical display of village flea markets: crockery, trinkets, old toys, clothing, books, records, small furniture, tools.
With its medieval heritage, listed Romanesque church and typical rural landscapes, Neauphle-le-Vieux has preserved its character.
