23rd edition of the annual flea market in Moutrot in the Sud Toulois
For over twenty years, the village of Moutrot has hosted its annual flea market every May 8th, which has become a popular meeting place for bargain hunters in the Sud Toulois over the years. The 23rd edition, scheduled for May 8, 2026, continues this tradition rooted in the village's local life. Organized by the Foyer Rural de Moutrot, this event showcases the richness of rural associative life.
Moutrot is a small commune in the Sud Toulois, nestled between wooded hills and agricultural land. The village, located between Toul and Colombey-les-Belles, offers an ideal rural setting for this open-air flea market. Exhibitors, both professional and amateur, set up stalls in the village streets and around the rural community center, offering furniture, antique tableware, trinkets, books, collectibles, and various curiosities.
The Foyer Rural de Moutrot, founded in 1986, is the driving force behind the village's associative life. Run entirely by volunteers, its mission is to animate the commune, foster encounters, and strengthen social bonds among residents. The May 8th flea market is the association's flagship event, bringing together exhibitors and visitors each year in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Moutrot flea market is open to all, with free admission. Visitors can enjoy refreshments and food on-site, provided by the rural community center's volunteers. Parking is free in the village surroundings. This event is an ideal outing for lovers of beautiful finds and families looking for a relaxing day in the countryside.
