Militaria & Military Antiques Fair

In the shadow of the 35th RAP

Tarbes has been a garrison town for centuries, and the 35th Parachute Artillery Regiment is today its flagship unit. Specializing in parachute artillery within the 11th Parachute Brigade, this regiment of some 850 soldiers stationed at Soult barracks since 1962 is equipped with CAESAR artillery systems. It is in this prestigious military context that the 35th RAP Association organizes this charitable fair each year.

A market for enthusiasts

Set up on Place de la Courte Boule, facing the regiment, the fair brings together professional dealers and private collectors. Visitors can find uniforms, medals, insignia, regulated antique weapons, field equipment, historical documents, military models and cutlery pieces. From Napoleonic soldiers to contemporary special forces equipment, all military history buffs will find something to their liking.

A charitable approach

Beyond the passion for militaria, this fair has a charitable dimension as proceeds go to support wounded soldiers of the French Army. A commitment that gives full meaning to this event rooted in the values of solidarity and remembrance upheld by the 35th RAP Association.
