The big annual flea market on the Vlasto field, in the Seine loop
In the heart of the Seine valley, the annual Mézy-sur-Seine flea market is one of the most anticipated early summer rendezvous for bargain hunters in the department. Organized by the school fund, it takes place on the Vlasto field, a beautiful open-air space that accommodates many exhibitors for a full day of displays. The event starts early in the morning, from 8am, and continues until early evening, around 7pm.
Individuals and dealers share the aisles, offering a very diversified selection: antique furniture, crockery and tableware, trinkets, glassware, vintage textiles, toys, old books, records, costume jewelry, tools, old linen, small appliances.
The profits from the flea market go to the Mézy-sur-Seine school fund, which finances educational projects, school trips and educational materials.
A rural town of around 1,700 inhabitants, Mézy-sur-Seine is part of the Grand Paris Seine et Oise urban community.
