Flins-sur-Seine inaugurates its first major flea market

In March 2026, the Flins-sur-Seine Carrefour shopping center hosted for the first time a major flea market in its parking lot. This new event, announced in the Paris press as 'the very first' of Flins-sur-Seine on this scale, fills a gap in this industrial Yvelines town known mainly for its Renault factory. The event was held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, from March 14 to 15, 2026.

An ideal logistical setting

The choice of the Carrefour shopping center parking, located along the D14, is not trivial: this vast flat and well-served space can accommodate many exhibitors in comfortable conditions, with easy access, abundant visitor parking and on-site shops and restaurants. For a first event, the formula is particularly effective and guarantees significant attendance thanks to natural traffic from weekend shopping.

A varied offering for this inaugural edition

According to early announcements, this inaugural edition offered a wide range of items: antique furniture, vintage objects, period dishware, vinyl records, retro toys, old books and many other curiosities. The formula attracted both private vendors coming to empty attics and garages and some professional dealers who saw the opportunity to participate in the opening of a new Île-de-France rendezvous. The announced hours, 8 am to 6 pm, gave bargain hunters the whole day to shop.

Flins-sur-Seine, between industry and countryside

Flins-sur-Seine is famous throughout France for its gigantic Renault Flins industrial site, a pillar of French automotive industry since 1952. But the town is also, and often forgotten, a village on the banks of the Seine with pleasant landscapes, near Meulan-en-Yvelines, Aubergenville and Rosny forest. Bargain hunters coming from afar can extend their visit to Mantes-la-Jolie, with its magnificent Notre-Dame collegiate church, or Meulan, a small town with medieval history.
