Annual flea market in the town hall park of Ecquevilly
Every year in late May, the Ecquevilly Festival Committee organises its major annual flea market in the town hall park. The 2026 edition, set for Sunday 31 May, carries on a friendly tradition that animates the town and gathers locals, bargain hunters and passing visitors for a day of browsing and shopping. The association, very active in local life, relies on a dedicated network of volunteers to welcome exhibitors and visitors from the early morning.
The town hall park is an ideal venue: wooded space, generous lawns and shaded paths create a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The stalls spread across the whole park, offering a pleasant route and a variety of goods. The outdoor setting and the spring season invite visitors to linger, chat with sellers and enjoy the friendliness typical of rural Yvelines flea markets.
About a hundred exhibitors, mostly private sellers, offer a wide range of items: clothing, tableware, toys, books, trinkets, small furniture, decor, costume jewellery, tools and baby gear. A few professional dealers round out the offer with rarer finds: old prints, glassware, old signs and themed collections. Prices remain affordable and bargaining is part of the fun.
Opening as early as 6:30 AM for early birds looking for the best deals, the flea market runs until 6 PM. Food and drink stalls run by the Festival Committee and local associations let shoppers refuel on site. It is the ideal opportunity for families to spend a day outdoors and discover Ecquevilly's dynamic associative life.
