A car boot sale in the land of cherries

Each spring, the commune of Saint-Constant-Fournoulès (15600) hosts its annual car boot sale, organized by the Comité d'Animation de la Foire à la Cerise (Top Cerise 15). This event, which celebrated its 10th edition in 2025, has become an anticipated gathering for the inhabitants of southern Cantal and the Maurs region.

Saint-Constant-Fournoulès, land of cherry trees

Saint-Constant-Fournoulès is a commune born from the merger of Saint-Constant and Fournoulès, located in the south of Cantal, on the border with Lot and Aveyron. The area benefits from a microclimate favorable to cherry cultivation, which gave rise to the famous Foire à la Cerise (Cherry Fair), organized every first Sunday of June since 2002. The May car boot sale serves as a prelude to this major annual celebration.

Ten years of village conviviality

Since its creation, the Saint-Constant-Fournoulès car boot sale has attracted a loyal crowd of bargain hunters and strollers. Exhibitors set up their stalls in the village center to offer their second-hand items: furniture, crockery, clothing, toys, books, and trinkets. The atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed, in the spirit of rural events in southern Cantal.

The Top Cerise 15 Animation Committee

The Comité d'Animation de la Foire à la Cerise, also known as Top Cerise 15, is a local association that organizes festive, cultural, and sporting events throughout the year. In addition to the Foire à la Cerise and the car boot sale, the committee offers various activities that contribute to the dynamism of this rural commune. On-site catering during the car boot sale is provided by the association's volunteers.
