Car boot sale of Roz-Landrieux

The May 8th car boot sale in the heart of the Marais de Dol

Every year on May 8th, a public holiday, APEL Baguer-Roz (Association des Parents d'Élèves de l'Enseignement Libre) organizes its car boot sale in the town center of Roz-Landrieux. Approximately 140 private exhibitors set up outdoors to offer clothing, toys, books, dishes, tools, and various items. All profits are donated to support the children's school activities. The May 8th date, a spring public holiday, guarantees good attendance.

Roz-Landrieux, a village in the Marais de Dol

A commune of about 1,400 inhabitants located 10 km south of Saint-Malo, Roz-Landrieux occupies a unique position on the edge of the Marais de Dol, a vast wetland drained over the centuries. This Breton polder, crisscrossed by canals and dikes, is highly fertile agricultural land. The village, perched on a slight promontory overlooking the marsh, offers panoramic views of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay in clear weather. APEL Baguer-Roz, active in the area, enlivens local school and community life.

A family and solidarity event

The refreshments and food on site, provided by volunteer parents, allow visitors to extend their stay in a friendly atmosphere. Entry is free and the village's outdoor setting is perfectly suited for a spring stroll among the stalls.
