Car boot sale organized by the festival committee in the heart of Arcins, a small wine-growing village in the Haut-Médoc
The festival committee of Arcins organizes a friendly car boot sale every May 1st in this small wine-growing village in the Haut-Médoc, between Margaux and Soussans. Private individuals offer second-hand items in a prestigious vineyard setting. Free entry, refreshment stand on site.
Every May 1st, the Comité des Fêtes d'Arcins (33460) organizes a car boot sale in this tiny village in the Haut-Médoc, nestled between the Margaux and Haut-Médoc appellations. Private exhibitors set up their stalls in the village square and offer clothes, toys, books, dishes, trinkets, and everyday objects at low prices. The event attracts residents from neighboring towns - Soussans, Lamarque, Cussac-Fort-Médoc - for a day of treasure hunting in an exceptional wine-growing setting.
Arcins is one of the smallest communes in the Médoc, with fewer than 400 inhabitants. This wine-growing village, crossed by the Route des Châteaux, is surrounded by vineyards producing wines classified as Haut-Médoc. Despite its small size, Arcins has an active community life, driven by a dynamic festival committee that organizes several events throughout the year.
The Arcins car boot sale has the charm of small rural events: people know each other, they chat, they take their time. The refreshment stand run by the festival committee volunteers offers drinks and snacks, allowing you to extend the morning in a warm atmosphere. It's one of those village events that add spice to life in the Médoc.
The car boot sale of the Arcins festival committee returns on May 1st, 2026. Free entry, refreshment stand on site.
