The APE of Pannes Car Boot Sale: a day of solidarity for the school

The Association des Parents d'Élèves (APE) of Pannes organizes its annual car boot sale every third Sunday in May. With around 75 private sellers, this human-sized event brings the community together for a friendly and festive second-hand day, with all profits going to fund the children's school activities and educational projects at the Pannes school.

A family-friendly and solidarity-based car boot sale

The APE car boot sale is distinguished by its family-friendly nature and strong local roots. The sellers, mainly families from the town and surrounding areas, offer children's and adult clothing, toys, childcare items, children's books, board games, crockery, and small everyday objects. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, far from the hustle and bustle of large fairs.

To keep the little ones entertained while parents browse the stalls, the APE organizes suitable activities: inflatable games, creative workshops, and small group games. These activities are an integral part of the event's identity, which aims to be a moment of shared conviviality for the whole family.
