Every spring, Fléré-la-Rivière (36700) offers an original event: a car boot sale coupled with a plant market. Exhibitors set up their stalls in the village to offer visitors a double pleasure: hunting for trinkets, tableware, books, toys, clothes and flea market items, and buying vegetable plants, flowers, herbs and shrubs from amateur gardeners and local nurserymen. This mixed formula is the key to the success of this friendly event.

Fléré-la-Rivière, between Indre and Touraine

Fléré-la-Rivière is a small commune of about 500 inhabitants located in northeastern Indre, on the edge of Touraine. The village is bathed by the Claise, a tributary of the Creuse, and offers a landscape of hedgerows, meadows and orchards characteristic of northern Berry. Its built heritage includes a Romanesque church and beautiful rural houses made of tuffeau stone. Its proximity to the Claise valley makes it a popular spot for nature and gardening lovers.
