On Ascension Thursday, the village of Obterre transforms into a vast flea market that attracts treasure hunters from all over the department and beyond. Nearly 200 exhibitors, professionals and individuals, take over the streets and squares of the town to offer antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, garden tools, books, toys, vintage clothing and curiosities of all kinds. The flea market is open all day and fast food is available on site.

Obterre is a village of about 250 inhabitants located in the northeastern reaches of the Indre department, at the gates of Touraine.
