The spring gathering of this small Tarn village
A small Tarn village nestled between Puylaurens and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Appelle organizes each year its eagerly awaited flea market. A human-scale event, between village lanes and dedicated parking, where locals and visitors meet for a pleasant day of hunting, with refreshments and typical Tarn atmosphere.
Nestled in southern Tarn, between Puylaurens and Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux, Appelle is one of those small villages of the Tarn Lauragais where community life is central. Each year, its spring flea market transforms the heart of the village into an open-air market.
Stands are set up in the village and near the nearby Leclerc car park. Classic flea market fare: children's and adult clothing, toys, books, crockery, small appliances, decoration, jewellery, tools. Prices are gentle, exchanges friendly.
A refreshment and food stand is available. This event fits fully into the tradition of rural Tarn flea markets, where village spirit remains very much alive.
Take the opportunity to explore Pays de Cocagne: Puylaurens bastide, Dourgne and Sorèze abbeys, lake of Balerme.
Appelle renews its flea market in 2026 with two confirmed dates: Saturday 18 April and Sunday 21 June 2026. The event takes place in the village with morning setup. Private individuals' bric-a-brac, on-site refreshments and friendly atmosphere.
