Champoly, a mountain village in the Monts du Forez perched at over 600 meters altitude, hosts a flea market car boot sale combined with a plant swap twice a year. The event is held at the La Péniche village hall, route des Verchères.
An original concept: treasure hunting and gardening
The Comité des Fêtes had the idea to combine a car boot sale with an exchange of plants, cuttings, and seeds. Visitors can leave with finds for the home and the garden. Entry is free and about fifteen exhibitors offer their items from 8 am to 5 pm.
Champoly, with its mid-mountain landscapes, fir forests, and meadows, offers a preserved natural setting to discover during this friendly day.
Brocante Troc Plantes Champoly — edition 2026
The car boot sale of the patron saint's festival of Champoly returns on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Place de l'Église, in this village in the Loire (42). Organized by the Comité des Fêtes, this annual event combines a flea market, car boot sale, and outdoor plant swap.
