Flea market and "vide ta chambre" in Ambillou

The APE Boomerang of Ambillou organizes a flea market and "vide ta chambre" every end of March in the village center. Approximately 45 exhibitors — adults and children — set up their stalls to offer toys, clothes, books, trinkets, crockery, and second-hand items. The "vide ta chambre" concept allows children to become sellers for a day, thus learning the value of objects and the joy of exchange. Refreshments and food are provided by APE volunteers.

Ambillou, a village between Langeais and Château-la-Vallière

Ambillou is a commune of about 2,500 inhabitants located in northwestern Indre-et-Loire, between Langeais and Château-la-Vallière. The village is crossed by the Lane, a small tributary of the Loire, and surrounded by forests and agricultural land. The church and the village center retain a rural character typical of northern Touraine. The commune benefits from the proximity of the Tours metropolis while offering a country lifestyle.

APE Boomerang, a dynamic association

APE Boomerang is the parents' association for the Ambillou school. It organizes several events throughout the year to fund the children's outings and educational projects. The March car boot sale is one of its flagship events.
