The Île Buda car boot sale offers an incomparable treasure hunting setting: an island in the Loire River, a preserved natural site in the heart of the Loire Valley. Every first Sunday of October, around 150 exhibitors set up their stalls on the island to offer clothing, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, tools, small furniture, vintage items, and various finds. The autumnal colors of the island's trees and the reflections of the Loire create a magical atmosphere for treasure hunting.

Saint-Étienne-de-Chigny (37230) is a commune in the Loire Valley, located between Luynes and Langeais, about fifteen kilometers west of Tours. The Île Buda is one of those Loire islands that punctuate the course of the river and constitute remarkable natural spaces.
