The Foire aux Entrecôtes à l'Échalote de Saint-Genouph is one of the most popular events in Touraine. Over more than a kilometer of stalls, around 300 exhibitors offer furniture, tableware, toys, clothing, books, trinkets, tools, decoration, vinyl records, and objects of all kinds. Saint-Genouph is a small village of about 1,800 inhabitants nestled on the left bank of the Loire, opposite the Château de Villandry and its famous gardens. This authentic Loire village, part of the World Heritage Loire Valley, offers an exceptional setting for this festival. On Sunday, the car boot sale starts as early as 6:30 AM along the village streets, with a brass band, children's shows, and a fireworks display in the evening.
