The springtime gathering for bargain hunters at the Halle Occitane
Nestled between Moissac and Castelsarrasin, the village of Meauzac is known for its chasselas grape orchards, its lower Tarn valley landscapes and its well-preserved rural heritage. Each year, the Festival Committee organises a large flea market that turns the village into a true playground for treasure hunters from across the department. The event takes place at the Halle Occitane, a modern covered market space allowing exhibitors and visitors to gather even in changeable weather.
The Meauzac flea market is above all a gathering of private sellers: you will find the classics such as adult and children's clothing, toys, books, crockery, small furniture, knick-knacks, baby gear, tools, vinyl records and decorative objects. A few semi-professional dealers complete the offer with traditional brocante items and collectibles.
All morning long, visitors wander between the stalls under the hall and along the outdoor aisles. A refreshment bar and snack service are run by committee volunteers, allowing visitors to extend their day until late afternoon.
