The gulf's biggest Sunday flea market under the pines
Every Sunday, the Mas de Bagatin flea market in Grimaud welcomes up to 250 exhibitors in a nearly 3-hectare pine forest. With its 1.3-hectare parking and laid-back spirit, it is the biggest weekly flea market of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Private and professional sellers, 6am to 4pm, in a unique rural-yet-coastal setting.
Mas de Bagatin in Grimaud is a Var hunting legend. Every Sunday of the year, 6am to 4pm, up to 250 sellers set up under a nearly 3-hectare shaded pine forest, near Notre-Dame de la Queste chapel. Quite simply, the largest weekly flea-market of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and one of the biggest in the department.
Access is one-way from the RD 14 via the chemin de Bagatin; exit toward the karting, RD 61 direction. A 1.3-hectare parking sits at the entrance. Open year-round, with rare exceptions.
It is a full hunting day: come early (from 6am for the keenest), walk a lot, negotiate, grab a drink, meet the regulars. More relaxed, more social, more populaire than urban flea markets.
Mas de Bagatin lies on the outskirts of Grimaud, a perched medieval village. After hunting, wander the old village (medieval castle, lanes, Saint-Roch mill) or visit nearby Port-Grimaud.
