Kiwanis Car Boot Sale for the Children of Mende

The Kiwanis Club of Mende's Christmas Car Boot Sale

Every December, the Kiwanis Club of Mende organizes its solidarity car boot sale at the Halle Saint-Jean, in the heart of the Lozère prefecture. Between 50 and 100 exhibitors take over this beautiful building to offer clothes, toys, books, decorative items, and all sorts of finds, in a festive end-of-year atmosphere.

This event takes on a particularly warm dimension in December, a festive period, where the act of treasure hunting takes on an extra dimension of sharing and generosity. Visitors can find Christmas gifts at low prices.

For the benefit of children: the Kiwanis mission

Kiwanis International is a global humanist organization whose primary mission is service to children and youth. The Kiwanis Club of Mende follows this tradition by donating the profits from its car boot sale to concrete actions for disadvantaged children in Gévaudan: school support, assistance to families in difficulty, funding of educational activities.
