Martinet flea market by Activ'seniors

Martinet is a rural commune of about 1,000 inhabitants in the Vendée retro-coastal area, between La Mothe-Achard (now Les Achards) and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. The Activ'seniors association, deeply involved in local life, launched its flea market in 2024 and aims to make it an annual gathering.

This event is part of Martinet's calendar alongside traditional village fairs. It mobilises volunteers to welcome sellers and visitors in a simple, warm atmosphere typical of Vendée bocage.

Martinet enjoys a prime location: 15 min from Bretignolles-sur-Mer and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie beaches, 20 min from La Roche-sur-Yon. Its church, tidy centre and bocage landscapes make it a pleasant stop away from coastal crowds. Part of the Pays de Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie community of communes.
