The great Anim'ma Vie flea market at Parc de Tressé in Ombrée-d'Anjou (Pouancé) — 2026 edition on Sunday, September 6th
The Anim'ma Vie association annually organizes its large flea market at Parc de Tressé in Ombrée-d'Anjou (49420), for the benefit of residents of the three hospital sites (EHPAD) in Pouancé. The 2026 edition, which is the 20th, will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026. This event has established itself as one of the most faithful highlights of Haut-Anjou, bringing together exhibitors and bargain hunters in a green setting in the heart of the former town of Pouancé.
Usually, the flea market brings together about fifty private exhibitors, who display their stalls with a varied offer: all-season clothing, toys and games, books and magazines, crockery and tableware, furniture and decorative objects, tools and equipment, trinkets and curiosities. Admission is free for visitors. On site: food (galettes, sausages, fries, crepes), refreshment stand, jam sales, and afternoon entertainment.
The Anim'ma Vie association aims to support the residents of the EHPADs in Pouancé and maintain social ties around them. The flea market is the unifying occasion of the year: proceeds and conviviality serving the "residents' party". Twenty years of organization testify to the deep roots of this event in the local life of Ombrée-d'Anjou.
Pouancé, now a delegated commune of Ombrée-d'Anjou (49420), is a former fortified town in Maine-et-Loire, guarding the border between Anjou, Brittany, and Maine. Its 14th-century medieval castle, one of the best preserved in the department, overlooks the artificial lake of Pouancé and its wooded shores.
The town of Pouancé retains a strong identity within the new commune of Ombrée-d'Anjou, with its historic center, shops, and services. Parc de Tressé, a green space developed in the heart of the town, is the preferred gathering place for residents for popular and festive events. Its tree-lined setting makes it one of the green lungs of Ombrée-d'Anjou.
