On Sunday, October 19th, 2025, the medieval streets of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain hosted the Marché de la Saint-Simon, a traditional fair bringing together flea market vendors, artisans, and local producers. From 9 am until nightfall, visitors strolled through the alleys of this Most Beautiful Village of France, discovering antiques and curiosities at the flea market stalls, artisanal creations (basketry, jewelry, ironwork), and local Burgundian products.
Gastronomy was in the spotlight with charcuterie, farm cheeses, honey, jams, walnuts, and the famous Anis de Flavigny, which visitors could taste in the Carolingian crypt of the former abbey. Wines from the Domaine de Flavigny-Alésia and beers from the Brasserie de Flavigny completed this gastronomic panorama. Free entertainment and concerts enlivened this autumn day.
