Monthly flea market by the Lez in Montpellier, every 2nd Saturday of the month
Every 2nd Saturday of the month, the Puces du Lez take over the riverbanks at 1348 avenue Raymond Dugrand, in the modern Port Marianne district. Around 100 exhibitors — second-hand dealers, antique dealers, creators, and individuals — display their finds in a relaxed atmosphere. You can find vintage furniture from the 50s to the 80s, design objects, quality second-hand clothes, vinyl records, retro tableware, and original decorative pieces. The spirit is resolutely contemporary, with an emphasis on vintage and design.
The Port Marianne district, developed since the 2000s along the Lez, embodies modern Montpellier. Contemporary architecture by prestigious names, green spaces, riverside promenades, and cultural facilities make up an urban landscape that breaks from the historic center. Les Puces du Lez take advantage of this setting to offer a different kind of bargain hunting experience, more airy and brighter than traditional flea markets.
Les Puces du Lez have successfully created a loyal community. The monthly schedule allows exhibitors to refresh their offerings and bargain hunters to return regularly with the hope of new discoveries. Food trucks and refreshment stands accompany the stalls, transforming the morning of bargain hunting into a festive and gourmet moment. Entry is free and the atmosphere is family-friendly.
Line 3, Rives du Lez or Port Marianne stop.
