Weekly Sunday morning flea market on the esplanade of the sub-prefecture in Lodève
Lodève (34700), an ancient episcopal city nestled at the confluence of the Lergue and Soulondres rivers, hosts its famous Brocs'Arts every Sunday morning. In the parking lot of the sub-prefecture, boulevard Leclerc, about forty exhibitors display their treasures from 6 am. Antiques, trinkets, vinyl records, artisanal creations, and curiosities of all kinds attract bargain hunters from all over the Cœur d'Hérault region. The atmosphere is warm, almost familial, reflecting this small town of character dominated by its Saint-Fulcran cathedral.
Classified as a City of Art and History, Lodève offers an exceptional setting for a stroll after your finds. The medieval streets, the Musée Fleury, and the Halle Dardé bear witness to a rich manufacturing and artistic past. Les Brocs'Arts continue this creative tradition by regularly welcoming local artisans and artists who exhibit their works alongside the flea market vendors. Local associations also find a space for expression and meeting here.
With a pitch costing 10 euros for approximately 24 m², Les Brocs'Arts remain accessible to all private sellers. Visitors enjoy free entry and a wide selection of items: old tableware, books, vintage clothing, furniture, and decorative objects. The market is held all year round, winter and summer, offering early risers a moment of authentic Lodève conviviality.
