A book festival in a village in the Haut-Languedoc

Lunas (34650), a small village perched in the Gravezon valley, in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc, hosts its traditional Book Fair every May 8th on the Place de l'Église. Organized in partnership with the association Dans la Lune and the Grand Orb Tourist Office, this fair brings together sellers and reading enthusiasts around tables covered with books of all kinds: novels, essays, old books, children's albums, comic books, and regional works.

Lunas, a green setting at the foot of the causse

Nestled at the confluence of the Gravezon and the Nize stream, Lunas is a mountain village whose schist houses and Romanesque bell tower blend into a landscape of chestnut groves and meadows. Its proximity to the lake of Salagou and the red ruffes makes it a starting point for beautiful hikes. The association Dans la Lune proudly promotes culture in rural areas, and this book fair is the finest illustration: a simple, warm event, open to all.

Books, crêpes, and music
