Every year in May, the commune of Chastang, a small town in Corrèze perched above the Dordogne valley, hosts a car boot sale organized by the association Libre Comme une. The event takes place on the village's football stadium, at 1154 rue de l'Auberge, offering a large outdoor space for exhibitors and visitors.

Reserved for Individuals

This car boot sale is strictly reserved for individuals, ensuring an authentic offering of second-hand items, far from professional stalls. Between 50 and 100 pitches are available, carefully marked on the ground along and around the stadium. The fee is 2 euros per linear meter, and exhibitors benefit from dedicated parking and a free coffee upon arrival from 6 am.

Le Chastang is a commune of about 300 inhabitants located between Tulle and Argentat-sur-Dordogne, in a green rural setting typical of the middle Corrèze region. The football stadium, on the edge of the village, offers a flat and clear space ideal for hosting the car boot sale stalls, with views of the surrounding hills.

Food and Camaraderie

Volunteers from the Libre Comme une association provide food and drink services throughout the day. Restrooms are available on site. The friendly atmosphere and the rural setting make this event a popular gathering for bargain hunters in the area.
