Every May 1st, the village of Montreuil-le-Gast hosts its annual car boot sale. Montreuil-le-Gast is a commune of about 2,000 inhabitants located 15 km north of Rennes, in the community of communes of Val d'Ille-Aubigné. The village offers a pleasant living environment between bocage countryside and proximity to the Rennes metropolis. The village center is grouped around its church and central square, surrounded by renovated farms and recent housing developments. Walking trails in the surrounding area allow visitors to discover a landscape of preserved bocage, with its hedgerows, ponds, and cider apple orchards.
