A charity car boot sale in support of schoolchildren

The Le Boulou elementary school car boot sale is much more than just a bargain-hunting event: it is a collective mobilisation to fund the children's educational and cultural projects. Organised by the teaching staff and parents of the school located at 16 rue du 4 Septembre, it raises funds each year to support school trips, class outings, the purchase of materials and end-of-year celebrations. Private exhibitors set up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 2-metre pitch at €7, a deliberately modest rate to open the event to as many people as possible. The day comes alive with stalls of baby gear, toys, games, books, children's clothes, crockery and miscellaneous trinkets.
