The 2025 edition of the Lamothe-Montravel popular festival was held on August 15th at the Parc de la Gare. The car boot sale, set up on rue de la Gare from 8 am to 6 pm, offered a wide selection of everyday items at low prices. The bookstall, children's games, refreshment stand, and gourmet lunch completed this festive day in the heart of the Montravel vineyard, continuing a tradition of over 60 years.

The August 15th, 2025 popular festival enlivened the Parc de la Gare of Lamothe-Montravel for a new edition of this traditional event. The car boot sale, the commercial heart of the day, attracted many exhibitors along the rue de la Gare, offering crockery, trinkets, clothing, books, and toys to bargain hunters from Périgord Pourpre and the neighboring Bordeaux region.
The bookstall delighted second-hand book lovers, while children's games and the refreshment stand contributed to the family atmosphere of the day. The gourmet lunch, served under the trees of the Parc de la Gare, brought together guests and bargain hunters around local specialties. This edition continued a tradition of over six decades in this wine-producing village in the extreme southwest of Dordogne.
