Private vendors offered furniture, tableware, books, comics, old toys and curiosities in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Local hunters carried on the tradition of the wild boar on the spit, the gastronomic highlight of the day particularly appreciated by visitors. Pretzels, grilled food, fries and local beer also contributed to the festive atmosphere at the foot of the medieval castle, in the exceptional setting of the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park.
