Journée des Collectionneurs de la Canebière

Throughout 2025, the Journée des Collectionneurs de la Canebière maintained its monthly appointment on the allées de Meilhan, in the heart of Marseille's 1st arrondissement. Every first Saturday of the month, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Chapitre district came alive around the stalls of 50 to 70 professional exhibitors.

Collectors found a rich and varied offering: old postcards illustrating the Marseille of yesteryear and historic Provence, stamps from all eras, old books and rare editions, paintings and prints from regional artists, vintage toys prized by the nostalgic, vinyl records for music lovers, and a fine selection of small furniture and decorative trinkets.

The warm and Mediterranean atmosphere of this outdoor market continued to attract a loyal audience, mixing seasoned collectors and curious strollers. The exchanges between enthusiasts, the expert advice from exhibitors, and the conviviality of the surrounding cafes made each edition a cherished moment of Marseille's cultural life. The Art Collection Organisation association ensured the regularity of the event throughout the year.
