Toy and childcare items fair in Huriel
The Huriel Toy and Childcare Fair is held annually in April in the village hall of this historic town located between Montlucon and Marcillat-en-Combraille. From 9 am to 5 pm, vendors offer second-hand toys, children's clothing, childcare items, strollers, and games at reduced prices. Huriel is known for its 12th-century keep, La Toque, which overlooks the village. Free admission.
Huriel is a commune in the southwest of the Allier department, located between Montlucon and La Combraille. The village is dominated by La Toque, an impressive 12th-century square keep which is one of the emblematic monuments of Bourbonnais. The village hall, located at the foot of this historic monument, hosts a toy and childcare fair every year.
The toy and childcare fair is an event specifically for families. You can find second-hand toys in good condition, children's clothing, strollers, car seats, children's books, and all childcare equipment. This economical and ecological format is increasingly popular in the department.
In addition to La Toque, Huriel has a Romanesque church and a collection of old houses that bear witness to the importance of this village in the Middle Ages. Visiting the keep, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, can complete the day for visitors to the toy fair.
Huriel Toy Fair 2026. Sunday, April 19th, village hall, 9 am-5 pm. Free admission.
